I don’t know how many weeks I’ve been doing OA, but I feel like it’s making a difference. I haven’t lost much weight yet – only a couple of kilograms – but my weight is heading in the right direction.

I’d like to keep losing, but I seem to keep eating off-plan. I’ll be fine and then eat something I shouldn’t in the evening. I need to get better organised.

I’m starting to make breakfast a regular thing, and I’m definitely eating better in general, but I need to stop the off-plan foods. I need to get to the point where if it ain’t on my plan, I don’t eat it.

I’m a long way off that yet.

I’m also learning, very slowly, to look after myself better. To take more care in my appearance, and my wellbeing, as well as the wellbeing of others.

I don’t expect to improve everything overnight, but the mistakes are grating on me. I’d like to be doing better than I am.

It’s a big journey I’ve undertaken. But I won’t quit.
