Making my kids healthier

After some deep thought, I realized my kids needed to improve their diets just as much – if not more – than I did.

So we’re doing a health reset.

My kids (2 out of 3) are now having berry smoothies for breakfast. The ingredients (per smoothie) are:

  • Half cup frozen berries
  • Cup whole milk
  • Half cup oats
  • Dash vanilla essence.

They make these up themselves and clean everything up themselves too.

They’re reporting back that they love these and they’re nice and filling. Now if I can just get my youngest onto them, that’ll be great.

Yes, these are more expensive than cereal, but also way better for them.

I figured I’ll clean up their breakfast, then work on cleaning up their lunches and dinners.

By the end of the year, I hope to have all of us us eating well and being much healthier 🙂
